SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
September 26-September 29 from 7:50am - 3:30pm
September 30 from 7:50-11:30am and 12:30-6:45pm
All profits from this book fair is taken in books, which are added to the library's collection. Students may purchase books anytime during the week, or shop as a family during Parent Teacher Conferences. Please come visit our book fair and support our school's reading program. We appreciate your support!
Junior High & High School News
PROJECT PROM MEETING
September 28 at 6:15 in the HS Cafeteria. We will discuss Golf Tournament recap and possibly another fundraiser. If you would like to be a part of the committee moving forward and cannot attend this meeting, contact Cindy Darnel at 690-9722.
8TH GRADE REALITY CHECK
October 4 at 2:00 pm in the Performing Arts Center. The Cole County Sheriff's Department will discuss the dangers our students may face in the coming years of high school, and the consequences once they turn 17.
BETH VRABEL BOOK SIGNING
October 4 at 7:00 pm. Beth Vrabel will be at Missouri River Regional Library for a book signing! She is the author of the Mark Twain Nominee, Pack of Dorks, as well as A Blind Guide to Stinkville and Camp of Dorks. There will be books to purchase from Downtown Book and Toy the night of the event and she will be signing books. Click here for more information.
FINANCIAL AID NIGHT
October 4 at 5:30 pm in the Performing Arts Center. The Associate Director of Financial Aid from Westminster College will talk with students and parents about how to apply for student aid. This is for any student considering to attend college after high school.
JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL
The junior high basketball game at Fatima has been moved to October 7 at Eugene. The schedules have been updated on the junior high basketball webpage.
October 21 from 7-10pm in the HS Cafeteria. This fun costume dance will be held in the high school cafeteria, and open to area students. Hosted by the JH/HS PTO.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTION
November 3 at 6:00 pm in the Performing Arts Center, with practice earlier in the afternoon from 2:00-3:00pm. You can become a member through a local selection process that concludes with induction into the school's National Honor Society chapter. More information will be given to eligible students later in the semester.
