BASKETBALL UPDATES

 

EUGENE BOYS BASKETBALL ARE UNDEFEATED CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS! The boys beat South Callaway at home Friday night for a Homecoming victory and secured a perfect 8-0 record in the Show-Me Conference. The JV boys also finished their regular season 8-0 in Conference play! Congratulations to Coach E, Coach Haslag and our Eagles basketball team!

 

CLASS 2, DISTRICT 8 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

February 20-25 at Sturgeon High School

  • The Eagles earned a #1 seed, and will take on Russellville on Feb 21 at 4:30pm. BOYS BRACKET
  • The Lady Eagles beat Harrisburg in the opening round Monday night! The next game is Wednesday at 7:30 vs. Calvary. GIRLS BRACKET

EUGENE ELEMENTARY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

February 27-March 2 in the Eugene Elementary and High School gyms. Come cheer on our 5th and 6th grade teams! Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students.

SMRL SUMMER BALL SIGNUPS

  • Brazito - Tuesday, February 21 from 5-7pm and Saturday, February 25 from 8am-Noon at the Brazito-Honey Creek Lions Club
  • Mary's Home - Tuesday, February 21 and Thursday, February 23 from 5-7:30pm at the KC Hall in Mary's Home.

PTO SPIRIT STORE 

Looking for some great spirit gear? Come check out the PTO Spirit Store, located in the upper level of the gym behind the visitor section. They are open at EVERY home game! You'll find a wide variety of items, so CLICK HERE to preview!

 

PTO is also taking orders for embroidered pullovers! Fill out the order form, and turn in all orders and payment before February 24. Samples will be available at Homecoming 2/17.

 

BUS DRIVERS

Cole R-V currently seeks applicants for full time bus drivers, substitute bus drivers and full time substitute drivers. If you are interested, contact Gary Morrow, Transportation Director, at (573) 498-4000 x 1084.

YEARBOOK ORDERS

Yearbooks are now on sale!  Purchase online or complete an order form and give to Mrs. Rasmussen.  Yearbooks are $50, and personalization is available for additional fee.

The two snow days will be made up on May 10 and 11.

Sportsmanship

Cole R-V Eugene is a proud member of the Show-Me Conference.  Starting this year, the Conference will award a traveling sportsmanship banner.  This banner will be awarded to the school that is ranked highest in all categories of sportsmanship by the players, coaches and their fans during this basketball season.  This will help establish the Show-Me Conference not only as one of the most competitive in the state, but one that represents the best as related to sportsmanship. We encourage everyone to cheer for all of the athletes on the floor and help represent Eugene as we show the fundamentals of sportsmanship.

February 21-24. Here are the dress up days and activities!

  • Tuesday - Opposite Day - Dress as the opposite! FFA is also hosting the supporter breakfast.
  • Wednesday - Jeans & FFA Jacket, and Drive Your Muddy Truck to School*
  • Thursday - Flannel Day, and Drive Your Tractor to School*
  • Friday - FFA Shirt Day.

*NOTE - All vehicles should be parked in the lower gravel parking lot away from the buses if participating. You must have your permit and parental permission to drive a tractor or truck to school.
